My oldest is at band camp this week.  Today on my walk I was thinking about my days in the high school band.  It is no secret that band has always been for the not so popular people.  This makes no sense to me.  Who doesn't LOVE the marching band?  What would a high school football game be with the marching band?  And aside from that, these kids are absolutely gifted to be able to learn a musical instrument, make it sound good, and march at the same time.  I am so proud of our marching band!!
